Jamie and Steves E Session

I first meet Jamie and Steve when they booked me for their upcoming 2009 Wedding. I knew that I was going to enjoy having Jamie as my client because within minutes of meeting we were talking about everything from Shoes to Fashion to Photography. Three of my favorite things LOL... So naturally I had a blast photographing their E Session. Jamie took it upon her self to hook Steve up on FASHION 101 for the sesssion, Thank god you guys have us girls to dress you..LOL they both looked amazing. Steve came all GQ and worked it for the camera like it was second nature...haha...Hope you guys like the sneak peak..ENJOY!!!

Jess and Austins E Sesssion

Jess and Austin came all the way from New Mexico just to have their Engagement Session photographed by Defy Studio's...well ok they also have family here on the Gulf Coast, but the other sounded so much better. LOL! Both Jess and Austin have a love for the beach so while they were down visiting for the holidays we squeezed in a very windy E Session! Congrats and Best Wishes with your 2009 Spring Wedding!

DJ's Anytime Session

DJ is one of my brides from 2007, and like so many of clients she has now moved off and living out of state with her new hubby! So it was such a pleasure to get to see her again and catch up! I love it when I get the chance to photograph someone "just because"..taking the time to value your life and living for the moment is priceless!

Hong and Longs Wedding

Hong and Longs Wedding was my first Vietnamese Wedding. I was totally captivated by all the cultural traditions and mutual respect of both families. It was a day of Love, Celebration, and the best kind of craziness. The first ceremony was a gathering of the two families. A very sacred and inmate ceremony. Both sets of parents along with other family members exchanged gifts and words to express the joy and joining of both families. Then we were off to the second ceremony where Hong and her bridesmaids changed into their second set of gowns for the "Traditional American Ceremony". Hong and Long said their vows has a host of family and friends witness their love and commitment to one another....Then we were off to the Reception at the Hadji Temple where all the fun began!!!!! Steve and Tracy with WEDDING WALLS did the most amazing job transforming the Temple into a story book Reception straight out of a magazine.. it was simply stunning!!!!! Hong is getting DAPs from one of LONGS groomsmen... this was my favorite image of the day! It was so unexpected and out of the ordinary....much like many moments through out the day.
